Before you buy: 10 things to know about the iPad – CNN.com

I admit I don’t get this.

At first I was pretty excited about it.  I love the iphone but I don’t want the AT&T service so I don’t have one.  I’m pretty happy with Verizon and my Blackberry. But the iPad? Could I have an iphone without AT&T?

But ughhh look at it.  You hold it in one hand and hunt and peck type?  At least with a smart phone, you can use both hands.  I checked out what some who had tried to type on the iPad had to say about it.

Just like with itunes, you have to buy the books from Apple’s store.  This is also a frustration with many about the iphone – you (and each individual application)  have to be approved by Apple and users can only buy the apps from Apple.

Usually I am first in line to jump on new gadgets but I think I will be waiting on this one.
